I am a divorced mom of a biological son and two adopted children from different countries and each having a different form of dwarfism. I attended Southern New Hampshire University to earn a degree in Creative Writing. The goal was to become an even better writer and help my author friends with sharper critiquing and editing skills. I have been a member of Romance Writers of America (RWA), as finances allowed, for more than twenty years, and of the Central New York Romance Writers chapter of RWA for eight of the past ten years. In that time, I have found friends among several Harlequin, and other, published authors who have helped me improve my craft as well as coach me in my first pitch which I used at the 2019 RWA conference in New York. I do have experience in social networking but have taken time off the last two years after the loss of my youngest son.
